Raptors and Ravens

Birds of prey mostly hunt for food “on the wing,” searching for their prey from the air. Their talons are sharp, their beaks are powerful, and all birds of prey exhibit a majesty that I love to portray.

There are times when I cannot resist and sculpt a non-hunting bird, too. Ravens and crows are feathered geniuses with an intellect unlike any other bird or raptor and are found throughout Indian, Celtic and Norse folklore.
